Love, Care, & Prayer

As humans, we all want to be loved, we all want to be cared for, and most of us will pray for that. But sit and think. Do you love and care for others? Do you dedicate your time in praying for others and other matters rather than yourself and your desires?

We all have prayed for stupid things, and thats okay. I know I have prayed for the most petty things. But God knows that’s how we are. Prayer is truly one of the strongest things ever. I pray in the morning, in the evening, at night, in my weakest moments, and my strongest moments as well. I will seriously pray at any and every moment throughout the day. One thing I pray to God about most is for me to be able to love and care for others as I want to be loved and cared for. In the south, our parents always told us, “treat others like you want to be treated”. Honestly, we take it for granted. We start to get the feeling that if someone treats us in a negative way that we need to do the same. But NO. Treat them better than the way they treated you. They may be going through a difficult time that is stressing them out to the point where they have to take it out on someone. But through these tough times, you must remember to love, care, and pray for them. God tells us in the Bible to pray for those we worry about, and everything will be okay.

Sometimes things don’t always turn out the way you wanted them to, but sometimes you just have to accept that and move on. God has a plan made for everything, and His timing is perfect. Anytime something goes wrong, just take a deep breath, pray continuously, and know that the Lord has it all under control. Trusting ┬áHim is one of the BEST decisions you will ever make. Sometimes it’s hard and you just have to cry it out, but knowing that He is greater and that He is in control will make your life so complete.

So ask yourself again, do you love, care, and pray for others? Do you thank Jesus for all He has blessed you with? Do you take time out of your life to look at all great things in this world that He has provided rather than all of the negativity we as humans have thrown out?
